Synergy Beat’s Corporate Social Responsibility Project
Building on Synergy Beat’s outstanding success in using group drumming to support team-building, enhance wellbeing, and celebrate meaningful moments in the workplace, we wanted to extend the same powerful experiences beyond corporate settings and into local communities.
From this vision, Drum Happy was born.
Drum Happy is a Community Interest Company dedicated to using drumming and rhythm-based activities to support vulnerable groups and the wider public.
Through accessible, inclusive, and engaging workshops, we create opportunities for people to build confidence, improve mental wellbeing, and reconnect with themselves and others. At the heart of everything we do is a belief in community, creativity, and connection.

Our Mission
Our mission is to create safe, welcoming, and supportive spaces where people from all backgrounds and circumstances can connect through rhythm. We exist to share the life-changing benefits of collaborative music-making, and we passionately believe in the transformative power of music to heal, uplift, and inspire.
Why We Exist
Many people — including those experiencing mental health challenges, social isolation, trauma, or recovery from addiction — struggle to access expressive and supportive outlets. Traditional forms of therapy or support are not always suitable or available to everyone.
Drumming offers a unique, non-verbal, and deeply engaging alternative. Through rhythm, participants can regulate emotions, reduce stress, express themselves safely, and form meaningful social connections — often without needing words at all.
